No club experience required. All abilities welcome.

Australian U20 Futsal representative

Meet your coach

Leon Thomson-Senanayake

Give your child the chance to learn from an Australian futsal representative. Leon is a 20-year-old coach with international playing experience and extensive junior representative coaching experience.

  • Represented Australia at the 2024 U20 Futsal World Cup in Spain
  • Multiple-time ACT Futsal representative at the National Futsal Championships
  • Coached multiple ACT State representative teams at the National Futsal Championships
  • Experienced in developing young players across a range of ages and skill levels

Term 4 sessions

Pick the day that suits you. Each runs for 10 weeks, and players are grouped by age and ability.

$250 for the 10-week term, which works out at $25 a session.

Why train with 5v5?

All abilities welcome

From complete beginners and social players to club players wanting to go further. No club experience needed.

Small groups

A maximum of 10 players per coach, so every child gets plenty of time on the ball.

Age & ability groups

Players train with others of a similar age and ability.

Make-up sessions

Miss a session? Come along on another session day in the same week, subject to availability.

Train with friends

Friends registering for the same day can train together.

All-weather courts

Training goes ahead in almost all weather. Sessions only pause in dangerous conditions such as lightning.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Fill in the form above or call 0485 980 335 and we’ll arrange a free trial session for your child.

Does my child need club experience?

No. Sessions suit complete beginners, social players and club players alike, with groups formed by age and ability.

What happens after I register?

We’ll contact you to collect your child’s details, including age, ability and any friend requests. Players are grouped by age and ability.

Can friends train together?

Yes. Players registering for the same day can be grouped together on request.

What happens if we miss a session?

Come along on another session day (Monday, Wednesday or Friday) in the same week, subject to availability.

What happens if it rains?

Training goes ahead in almost all weather. Sessions only pause during dangerous weather such as lightning.

What should my child bring?

A water bottle, and runners or football boots with soft rubber soles. Shin guards are optional.
